Bayonne will host an Italian Night celebration Thursday, Oct. 5, city officials announced. The celebration, which will include a dinner and band music, will be held at 6 p.m. at the Polish-American Home at 27 West 22nd St. It is organized by by Mayor Jimmy Davis and the Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation (BEOF), Bayonne's community action agency.
"October, which includes Columbus Day, is a traditional time for Americans to celebrate Italian and Italian-American culture," Davis said in a statement. "Come celebrate this heritage with your friends and family on Oct. 5."
