For most people, the idea of going to a cemetery is the last thing they want to think about, but for the past five years or so, going to the Italian Cemetery in Colma has taken on an entirely different connotation.
Besides being the only cemetery in the United States created by and for Italians, the Italian Cemetery has turned into an Italian Community Center of sorts.
Case in point is the monthly Italian Heritage Tours that are presented every Spring and Summer.
