If you love Italian food, you won't want to miss "Festa Italiana", planned for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18 in Downtown Chico City Plaza. It's hosted by the Sons and Daughters of Italy - Vincenzo Bellini Lodge. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Butte County Office of Emergency Management for Evacuation Support.

There will be all kinds of Italian food for sale, along with live music and a beer and wine garden. Admission is free. Sons of Italy and Daughters of Italy in America was founded in New York City in 1905, representing Italian American men and women throughout the U.S. Chico's Lodge was founded by Antonio Lucido on May 28, 1982.
