The Italian pianist Emanuele Arciuli fell in love with New Mexico and its Native American art 10 years ago and has been returning ever since.
The classical and contemporary musician will perform at Chatter next Sunday.
"I'm Italian, but if I was American, I would be New Mexican," Arciuli wrote in an email. "Since 2005, I've traveled to New Mexico almost every year, sometimes two times in the same year, not only to give performances but also visiting friends, exploring the most beautiful landscape I've ever seen in my life, experiencing the incredible richness of art, culture and creativity."
