American premiere of the documentary film "I Siciliani", will be screened at the Casa Italiana Zerilli  Marimò, New York, on April 9^th. "I Siciliani", is written and directed  by Francesco Lama featuring among the most famous Sicilian artists such like Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Leo Gullotta, Tony Sperandeo, Ninni Bruschetta , Pietrangelo Buttafuoco, Antonio Emanuele and the Sicilian people. The first screening and press conference will take place at Casa Italiana Zerilli Marimò in New York, on April 9^th . 

The documentary film was first presented in world premiere at the prestigious BAFTA in London in September 2016, followed by a successful screening at the 62th International Taormina Film Festival, and finally released in the Italian movie theatres at the end of the year. Beside the screening, the director, Francesco Lama, will also present to the audience his book The Sicilians which includes the screenplay of the movie, the photos, the DVD, the catalog of the movie.

The event is organized by Nucciarte productions along with the Italian Consulate General in New York, and of the prestigious Casa Italiana Zerilli Marimò of  New York University.

On April 10^th, the director will hold a masterclass at Montclair State University and on April 11^th there will be a meeting with the Federation of Sicilians in New Jersey.

Maria Grazia Cucinotta, the famous Sicilian actress will attend all the events along with the director.

At Casa Zerilli Marimò, the Sicilian company Virgona will offer the Malvasia delle Lipari wine while the famous Sicilian pastry chef  Nicola Fiasconaro will have for the guests some Sicilian sweets.

All the events in New York and New Jersey are supported by the Sicilian companies Irritec and Cavagrande.
