On Dec. 5, at 7pm, Cabrini University will host the U.S. premiere of Frances Xavier Cabrini: The People’s Saint at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute. The film explores the culture and spirituality that shaped Mother Cabrini, the Patron Saint of Immigrants and Hospital Administrators. Honoring the centenary of her death, the special premiere includes a pre- and post-screening conversation with director Lucia Mauro and producer Joe Orlandino.
General admission tickets are $20 and include popcorn and soda. Exclusive packages are also available. Tickets are available online. The topical documentary reintroduces audiences to the First American Saint and addresses her relevance today for refugees and immigrants. Filmed in the U.S, and Italy, the documentary captures Mother Cabrini’s tenacity and dedication to serve those in need.
