Union County Columbus Day Flag Raising is Oct. 10 at Courthouse in Elizabeth

Union County Freeholder Chairman Christopher Hudak announced the county's sixth annual Columbus Day Flag Raising event is set for Friday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m., on the steps of the historic Union County Courthouse.
The keynote speaker/guest of honor is Congressman Frank Pallone Jr. (NJ-06) who has represented central New Jersey in Congress since 1988. Pallone was born and raised in Long Branch, New Jersey, where he still resides.
