In an unremarkable office building on the outskirts of Milan some of the world's most beautiful jewelry is being made using techniques and tools that, according to Andrea Buccellati, president of his family's jewelry house, "haven't changed since the Renaissance."
And, added his sister, Maria Cristina Buccellati, the company's communications director, "we are the only jewelry company that still uses them."
