It’s a true story about a restaurant rising from ashes.  Popular Clarence restaurant reopens, but this time on Transit in East Amherst restaurant.  The Italian restaurant was closed for more than two years, after it caught on fire, while owner, Kelly Jacobbi was at the Taste of Buffalo. Part of the roof caved in during the fire, which was sparked by  grease.

The insurance company wouldn't pay for the damages, forcing Jacobbi to sell the property, and open a smaller shop in the East Amherst shopping plaza.  The restaurant is officially open for business.   Carmine’s Owner, Kelly Jacobbi said all the classic items are back on the menu, plus some new inspirational dishes like Crab Cake Stuffed Shrimp.  She's even accepting gift certifcates from the old location! The restaurant is open daily at 4 p.m. and is closed on Mondays. Questions? Call (716) 636-3100.
