A new bar and Italian spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to River North, called Sapori Antichi Bar Italiano, is located at 22 W. Ohio St. The menu includes six types of panini and eight types of pasta, including hand-made gnocchi, spinach risotto and ricotta and eggplant stuffed ravioli. Look forward to an array of drinks as well, including cocktails, white wines and coffees.
With a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, Sapori Antichi Bar Italiano has already made a good impression. Carmela S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 5, said, "Having lived in Italy as a child and being first-generation Italian, I can tell you that this is truly one of the best Italian experiences in Chicago! Don't miss this, it truly makes you feel as if you stepped into a restaurant in Italy from the decor, to the food, to the people."
