The Sons of Italy, Galloway and Absecon Purple Aster Chapter is offering two $1,500 scholarships to high school seniors of Absegami and/or Holy Spirit High Schools. Students who are enrolled in college by September 2017, and have a parent or grandparent of Italian descent are eligible to apply.

Details and applications are available in the guidance office of each school. All applications and accompanying documentation must be in one package postmarked no later than May 1, 2017. Winners will be notified by June 1, and awards will be given at the Sons of Italy dinner at a local restaurant on June 15.  Complimentary dinners will be given to each winner and two guests.
