Over the last years, the Italian Government introduced several measures aimed at attracting companies and human capital, especially the so called High Net Worth Individuals, to stimulate growth and boost investments in Italy, generating interest world-wide from international family offices, business entrepreneurs and corporations.

The Italian legal and tax community has developed significant practice and expertise in order to understand the current landscape of opportunities and challenges of moving to, or investing into Italy. Italian experts will describe incentives for individuals and companies to move their business and life to one of the most pleasant destinations worldwide: Italy.

Marco Cerrato - Maisto e Associati (Milan, Italy)
Marco Cerrato is an Italian tax attorney based in Milan where is partner of Maisto e Associati since 2003. His firm is ranked by all the international and Italian legal directories as the leading tax practice in Italy while he is recognized as an Italian leading tax attorney. He holds an LL.M. and a PhD in tax and is professor of tax law since 2002 at the LIUC University (Varese). He is frequent speaker at conferences and has published many papers on domestic and international tax law. He acted as advisor of the Italian Government and since 2018 he is member of the Council of STEP Italy.

and head of the Italian Tax and Wealth Planning Practice
She is Secretary of Board of Directors of STEP Italy and member of the International Fiscal Association. She specializes in tax and wealth advice for HNWIs and families as well as charities and foundations, succession planning and inter-generational transfer of family businesses, establishment of trusts and other instruments for the transfer of family assets. Giulia is Vice President of the non-profit organisation, the Novak Djokovic Foundation Onlus in Italy.

A member of the Italian Bar since 1997, Ms. Petrella's practice focuses on Italian and international tax and spans from capital markets to M&A transactions, from tax controversy to advising family offices and UHNIs. She acted as advisor of the Italian Government and she is recognized as a leading Italian tax lawyer by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500 EMEA, and ITR's "World Tax".

Andrea Tavecchio - Founding Partner of Tavecchio Caldara e Associati (Milan)
He is enrolled in the Register of Chartered Accountants of Milan. TEP. He specializes in private clients and family business. He has been appointed to various expert committees reporting to the Ministry for Economic Development and the Prime Minister's office on economic and fiscal matters. He founded Tavecchio Caldara e Associati, top ranked by Chambers and Partners HNWI.
