It's with tremendous saddness that the Italian American Police Society of NJ announces the untimely passing of it's Vice President Alfonse Imperiale this afternoon. Alfonse was one of the organization's foundation members serving on the Board for almost 20 years. Al leaves a legacy of service to NJ retiring as a Captain in the NJ Transit Police and still working in the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Homeland Security Unit. Al was a mentor, friend and incredible police officer. We will miss you always! God bless you.
