Two large retail developments, one including an Italian-themed village, are headed to Georgetown at Interstate 35 and Texas 29. Wolf Lakes Village is a proposed 164-acre retail/residential community with arched bridges, a plaza, three lakes and a wedding chapel planned for the northwest corner of the highways’ intersection. It also will feature corporate campuses, apartments, a cinema, a cathedral and a 3,500-seat amphitheater.
Wolf Crossing is a planned 42-acre, 250,000 square-foot retail development that includes several restaurants, a grocery store, a hotel and views of the San Gabriel River. It is planned for the southeast corner of the highways’ intersection. Plans for both projects were announced at economic summits in Williamson County this week.
