The Greater New Haven Columbus Day Parade is coming to Branford on Sunday, Oct. 13. The annual honor of hosting the parade, which rotates among the towns of East Haven, West Haven, Hamden, New Haven, and North Haven, returns to Branford in 2019 — appropriately enough, on the occasion of its 375th birthday.
Vietnam Army veteran and Bronze Star recipient Branford’s Vincent Giordano Jr. of Giordano Construction Cos., and Betty Ann Cacace Donegan, an inductee in Branford Education Hall of Fame known for her culinary school and involvement in charitable causes, will serve as Parade Grand Marshals.
