August 2nd, 2018 marked the Piazza della Famiglia's official dedication, establishing this public space as the "heart" of Little Italy. Back in 2015, Date St. was primarily a thoroughfare for freeway access; underutilized as a city street and unattractive in comparison with the rest of the district.
A collective vision between the Little Italy Association and HG Fenton envisioned the entire block as a central gathering place for the community. Three years later, that's exactly what we got!
