Be Your Idol
Do you remember the Be Your Icon event at TRU Trussardi that I gushed about so enthusiastically last month? Well, here's a little secret I waited to let you in on: the delightfully embarrassing photographs I had obliged to having taken ended up on a customized gift for yours truly. The Thursday evening Be Your Idol event had guests return to the Via Frattina boutique to pick up a complimentary bag that had been personalized with images from last month's photo shoot.

A Christmas Event
If the aim was to spread self-confidence through style, they did so beautifully! Just in time to spread Christmas love and some much needed shopaholic energy for the festive season.

Tête-à-tête with Peter Cardona
Nothing is normal or boring at TRU Trussardi. Stylist Peter Cardona, also Fashion Director for Marie Claire Ukraine, dedicated some one on one time to each guest in search of the perfect outfit. After a friendly introduction and a quick look at my features and ensemble, Cardona pointed to a beautiful navy blue silk dress and stated, "This would look great on you!" As we exchanged points of view on personal style, I started to feel like I could talk to him forever. Not wanting to steal him time from all the eager faces around us, I thanked him and showed him the bouclé jacket I had chosen for the Be Your Icon photo shoot. He gave me his seal of approval!
