Morganton’s music scene will take on an international flair when some long-distance travelers take the stage Saturday night. All the way from Italy by way of Nashville — where they played Wednesday night — the Anita Camarella and Davide Facchini Duo will perform in the Upper Wine Room at The Grind Café and Coffeehouse in downtown Morganton on Saturday evening.
Tickets for the concert, which will last from 7:30-10:30 p.m., cost $14 per person and call-ahead reservations are recommended. The service of entrees, craft beer and wine will begin at 6:30 p.m. Playing tunes from the Italian Swing Era of the 1930s and ’40s, Camarella (vocals) and Facchini (fingerstyle guitar) will bring something completely different for local music-lovers.
