The thing about New York City nightlife and the pandemic…there were endless pronouncements that the latter might irreparably disable the former. But the truth is, nighttime in Gotham was already a significantly diminished proposition.
Not that there weren’t plenty of places to get up and get on down before the lockdowns went into effect in March of 2020 – but let’s face it, ten years from now, no one is going to be making movies about trendy dance clubs in Williamsburg or craft beer bars in Bushwick. The specialness was long, long gone.
