Tom Menino, to his everlasting pride, was Boston's first Italian American mayor. But the city's Italian American community wants Menino to be remembered as everyone's mayor.
In the North End, Italian-born Ralph Cattaneo serves coffee from behind the bar at Caffe Dello Sport.
In between pulling espresso for regulars Cattaneo says the full impact of Menino's death hasn't registered, "I think the community, it really hasn't hit them yet, maybe."
