When Rutgers University announced they were going back to the future with the re-hiring of former head coach Greg Schiano, there were few people more pleased than the Cioffi family. Anthony Cioffi, who currently plays for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL) was a stand-out defensive back during his four years playing in Piscataway, although he did not play under Schiano during his first tenure.
As a result of his commitment to Rutgers, the Cioffi family, including his Father Jerry, Mom Josephine and Uncle Joey, along with a gaggle of other relatives threw their support behind the scarlet and white.
