Julio Vincent Gambuto sets his film in a part of the world that owns his heart: Staten Island. Now, he’s among A-listers in the Mill Valley Film Festival, where his feature film “Team Marco” will make its world premiere on Sunday, Oct. 6. The 92-minute production is listed in the “family films” category, screening at 11:45 a.m. PST on Sunday, Oct. 6 and 1:45 p.m. PST on Sunday, Oct. 12.
“I could not be prouder of the work of our team or more grateful for the gracious support we received shooting 'Team Marco’ right here on Staten Island," said Gambuto. "Being recognized by the California Film Institute as one of the best independent films this year is an incredible way to introduce our work to the world.”
