The Italian Festival at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Our Lady of Loreto Parish in Worcester returns after a two-year absence due to COVID-19, with opening festivities on Aug. 11. The four-day event on parish grounds at Our Lady of Loreto, 33 Masssasoit Road, is a chance to check out not only traditional Italian food, but also live music, local vendors, special children’s activities (bounce houses, face painting), and more.
Admission is $2 per person. Festival hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 11; 5 to 11 p.m. Aug. 12; noon to 11 p.m. Aug. 13; noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 14. Handicap parking is in the church lot, with additional on-street parking and at Rice Square School. Elaine Beaudry and Matteo Colletta are festival chairpersons.
