A small jewel of the Tyrrhenian Sea with a wild beauty: the Isola del Giglio is an island of the Tuscan Archipelago to be discovered. Let ‘s find out what there is to see on Giglio Island. The Isola del Giglio rises in front of the promontory of Monte Argentario within the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. The position makes it easy to reach; just take one of the ferries departing for Giglio Island from Porto Santo Stefano (Argentario’s capital).
The uncontaminated nature, the crystalline sea elected Blue Flag and the coast characterized by coves and granite cliffs make the island a surprisingly beautiful destination. But it is not just sea and nature. What is there to see on Isola del Giglio? It is possible to immerse yourself in history by visiting the medieval village of Giglio Castello and the characteristic port of Giglio Porto.
