The rankings of the Italian regions' healthcare system, published by the Ministry of Health, evaluate three indicators: hospital activity, prevention, and district-level services. For each indicator, a score is assigned based on the quality of care in each region, up to a maximum of 100 points.

By adding up the scores from the three categories, the final ranking is determined. Here are the results: Veneto (287.1), Tuscany (285.6), Province of Trento in Trentino Alto Adige (277.9). A total of eight regions are rated "insufficient" in at least one of the indicators.
