Former Lustre Christian High School star, Michele Capasso, signed a Letter of Intent to play for Dawson Community College next season. The point guard hails originally from Italy, but came to Montana as a foreign exchange student in 2015-2016 and had a stellar season. As a senior, he averaged 30.5 ppg and was named All-Conference and All-State in Class C. His season high in points was 54 points in a game. While at Lustre, he played for Coach Randy Reddig, a former DCC Buccaneer. Capasso’s younger sister Gabriella is currently at Lustre Christian.
Capasso wanted to attend DCC after finishing at Lustre in 2016, but as an exchange student, he didn’t meet NJCAA Eligibility requirements. He played at Cuesta College in California this past season, though his heart was always focused on getting back to Montana and joining the Buccaneers.
