Sebastian Giovinco has been an overwhelming success since moving to Major League Soccer and joining Toronto FC. Unlike many of the players to have moved to the United States in recent seasons, Giovinco is no faded veteran keen for a final chance of glory. At 28-year-old, the diminutive forward is arguably in his prime, and could certainly have thrived at a major European side upon leaving Juventus earlier this year.
However, the Atomic Ant opted for Toronto, and hasn't looked back! This weekend, during his side's 3-2 triumph over Chicago Fire, the Italian international entered the MLS history books. In the 29th minute, the Italian contributed an assist for Jonathan Osorio, before repeating the trick half an hour later as he provided the assist for Michael Bradley to add the Canadian side's second.
