We are delighted to announce the 2025 grant recipients for the Russo Brothers Italian American Filmmaker Forum (RBIAFF)! AGBO and the ISDA were amazed by the range and depth of this year’s applications and can’t wait to see this year’s grant recipients stories come to life. ST. JOSEPH directed by Maky Rupert, LUIGI LOOKALIKE directed by Luke Salvatore Petronella, PASTA DI NIENTE directed by Adriano Valentini, TIRAMISU directed by Katerina Munis, FORGOTTEN FLAVORS directed by Michael Mastronardi.
These five filmmakers will receive a $10,000 grant to produce these short films over the next several months. From these five films created, a selection committee comprised of RBIAFF founders — Basil Russo, Patricia Russo, and their children Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, and Angela Russo Otstot — will choose a winner to receive an additional $10,000 and admittance into the AGBO Storytellers Collective (StoCo).
