We are currently doing a casting search for the role of DANTE (with Melissa DeLizia Casting) for the Netflix film YOU ARE SO NOT INVITED TO MY BAT MITZVAH for Happy Madison Productions (Adam Sandler's production company.) We are seeking male teen/tween talent (11-15 years old) that can authentically play Italian (or, talent from any other country that speaks a romance language; think Spanish, French, etc...with Italian talent being the focus.)

LOGLINE: Stacy Friedman is determined to have the best Bat Mitzvah ever. Stacy, her best friend, Lydia, and their families have been planning this for their entire lives. But skyhigh expectations, popular boy Andy Goldfarb and general middle school growing pains pose a threat to friendship, family and—most importantly—the perfect party.

[DANTE] Dante is a 12-14 year old boy. Dante is a foreign exchange student from Italy with a slight Italian accent. He is Catholic, but is earnestly interested in the Jewish faith and helping out in the community. Dante has casually found himself in the popular crowd, but he doesn’t seem to care much about status.
