Whenever I watch a movie where cooking is featured, I inevitably start craving whatever food is being featured. After watching Eat Drink Man Woman, all I wanted was dumplings and Chinese handmade noodles. After viewing Goodfellas, all I wanted was a good lasagna and garlic bread. Always Amore, the newest film on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is no different. Italian food will definitely be on my menu when I sit down to watch this film where chef and TV personality Giada De Laurentiis serves as an executive producer.
Elizabeth (Autumn Reeser) is working hard to keep her late husband Marco’s Italian restaurant, Il Cibo E Vita, afloat with the support of her mother-in-law Nonna (Patty McCormack) and devoted staff. She’s holding on to the recipes and styles established by Marco to honor his memory, but business is going downhill.
