At this year’s IAAPA Expo Asia (IEA), formerly the Asian Attractions Expo (AAE), Zamperla will discuss FICO, the largest agri-food park in the world. Based in Bologna, FICO will mark the return of Zamperla to park management in Italy, after the great success of Luna Park in Coney Island and Victorian Gardens in New York City.
The project, to be entirely made by Zamperla, will be built within FICO and will be an indoor themed Family Entertainment Centre. Specifically targetting children, guests will enter the FEC from the back of a farmhouse and find themselves in a typical Italian farm, which will feature 12 rides. Zamperla will operate and manage the park once it opens to the public by Q3 2019.
