A new Italian spot has debuted in the neighborhood. The new addition to Victory Park, called Mio Nonno, is located at 2588 N. Houston St. This is the third Texas location for Mio Nonno, which first opened its doors in Allen in 2014. This one is located directly across from the American Airlines Center.
Mio Nonno serves traditional Italian fare, such as antipasto, lasagna, pizza, gnocchi and risotto. Everything is made from scratch, including the desserts. Look for dishes like the Vongole with linguine pasta, clams, roasted garlic, oven-roasted tomatoes and clam juice; or the Paesano with rigatoni pasta, grilled chicken, mushrooms, broccoli rabe, hot cherry peppers, aglio olio and ricotta salata.
