Joe Haliti is at it again. It’s no secret the local restaurateur has spent months donating meals to law enforcement, teachers, fire and medical personal as the COVID-19 pandemic lingered on. But on Monday, Haliti will give away 5,000 more meal to reach his goal of 50,000 meals donated throughout the county.
This time anyone who wants an Italian lunch is welcome to stop by. Meals will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Joe’s Italian Restaurant, 1604 N. Frazier St. “We don’t need to see a badge, we don’t need to know where you work,” he said. “Just come get some lunch.”
