Ivy Bar & Bistro, a chic new Italian eatery inside the newly-renovated Fiori Spa, will kick open the doors this weekend. The restaurant is part of a major, multi-million dollar revamp for the Fiori Spa at 2613 Potomac Drive, and will boast an 1,800 square foot rooftop bar, French-style furnishings, and striking crystal bar, according to a press release. During the day, Ivy Bar & Bistro will offer a laid-back experience, but the vibe will become decidedly more clubby after dark thanks to “DJ-driven dance music” and plenty of cocktails.
As far as the food is concerned, look forward to a menu that’s decidedly more interesting than the typical, super-healthy spa fare. Italian cuisine dominates the offerings, which include pasta, pizza, and paninis. Gluten-free and vegan options will be on the menu, including a cauliflower crust pizza topped with soy cheese and “sausage.” Cocktails include the Divine Goddess, a mix of Zephyr gin, St. Germain, smoked rosemary, and lemon, and the Lime & Thyme again, a “skinny” margarita made with lime and thyme tincture.
