Fazoli's, which announced in March it was coming back to Middle Georgia, has picked two sites for the fast-casual restaurant. C&P Restaurant Co., a franchise group owned by Allen Peake and Mike Chumbley, had signed a six-unit development agreement for Fazoli's in Georgia. Fazoli's is an Italian-American restaurant chain based in Lexington, Kentucky.

The first store will be built at 6237 Zebulon Road, next to an Applebee's restaurant currently under construction, Peake said in an email. "We hope to be under construction in the next 60 days and possibly open by Christmas," he said.
