A world-famous Italian spot just opened a location in Greenwich Village. All’Antico Vinaio opened last week at 225 Sullivan St., near West Third Street, which is the eatery's second location in Manhattan. All’Antico Vinaio opened in Florence in 1991, where its three locations became popular tourist attractions for what Savaeur magazine called "the world's best sandwiches."
There is no menu posted online for the new Greenwich Village location, but the eatery is best known for serving its square stuffed sandwiches filled with salami, prosciutto, gorgonzola, capocollo, roast beef, mortadella, truffle honey, pecorino cream, spicy eggplant, and more.
