After running a successful restaurant in Nolita for over a decade, Luca Fadda, his wife and a business partner have shifted their focus to Greenpoint. Manhattan Avenue recently welcomed Le Fanfare – fanfare in English – Fadda's new Italian restaurant.
For Fadda, for whom Le Fanfare is a labor of love, the Greenpoint opening is a cause for celebration. When Fadda and his wife, Giorgia, moved from Sardinia over a decade ago, they ditched their professions of lawyer and economist, respectively, and opened a restaurant in Manhattan, despite having no idea what they were doing.
