A sister restaurant to the popular and well-reviewed Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar in Farmingdale will open this week on Route 25A. Vespa Italian Chop House takes over the location of the former Nocello's, 843 Fort Salonga Road. Owners Ben and Cynthia LoManto tells Patch that they hope to open their doors to the public during the middle of next week.
The restaurant's menu is a hybrid of Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar and the Farmingdale steakhouse also owned by the family called Harleys American Grill, Ben LoManto says. The classic Italian cuisine of the former will be joined with the dry-aged steaks they specialize in at Harleys.
