Zuppardi's Apizza, the popular West Haven pizzeria that also serves Libby's Italian Ices, will open a new takeout-only location in Ansonia on Feb. 2, the restaurant announced. "We are so thankful for your support and enthusiasm towards our new space in Ansonia!" the owners wrote on Facebook.
"We are excited for this new addition to our family business and cannot wait to share our love for apizza with all of you. It has certainly been a long process, but the time is finally here." The new spot is on Beaver Street, and will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and open Wednesdays and Thursdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sundays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
