Anna Carabetta of Meriden, Connecticut, founder of Carabetta Cares and Star Studio, is excited to announce the release of her first cookbook, Cucina di Anna, late Spring 2021. Anna is a health and wellness instructor, public relations manager, caregiver and more. But at the heart, she is a wife to her husband, Joe, and mother to her five children, Cristina, Joe III, Johnny, Cecelia, and Celina.

Cooking family recipes and maintaining family traditions are staples in Anna’s home. It was her mission to pass down these memories, and so her cookbook, Cucina di Anna, was created.

While this may seem like a traditional cookbook, the layout is unlike many out there. In Cucina di Anna, the reader embarks through the four seasons, each with five delicious recipes that will bring the same warmth and wholeness that Anna feels when she cooks with her family. You’ll also take a journey through Anna’s Italian heritage and her parents’ story of determination, a recipe in and of itself that led Anna to appreciate the art of cooking.

Copies of this beautiful hardcover cookbook, embellished with stunning photos of all twenty dishes, are available for purchase now. With each purchase of the book, a portion will be donated to charities. Volunteering and giving back to the community are just as important to Anna, and she wanted to make sure that a little piece of her home could bring some comfort to others.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Through Anna Carabetta’s life as the youngest of five children and daughter of immigrant parents, she has great belief in hard work and true family values. As a child, Anna grew up speaking Italian as her first language. She attended Catholic school and went on to a technical high school learning graphic communications. While deciding what her career base would be, she began working in banking just before meeting her husband of now 31 years. Anna married young, and then decided to enroll in a community college. Upon the loss of her first pregnancy of twin boys, she knew she wanted to stay home to raise a family and work from home. Shortly after, her father passed away suddenly. These two tragedies were the spark of who Anna was becoming. She put the greatest emphasis on keeping her family, especially her father, with her in the way she would cook and host family holidays. She keeps the traditions alive and believes the strength she has is her father within her.

Anna has many stories of traumas and triumphs, and this is what makes her who she is today. She is an avid volunteer to many non-profit organizations. She has taken countless class courses from leadership training certification, real estate, and management classes.  She continues her study in the fitness and nutrition industry to stay on top of the changing trends.  Most recently, she became a justice of peace, which is so fitting to who she is as she will now preside over the civil union of individuals starting their own families.

Anna’s greatest joy and accomplishment is her family.  She enjoys watching her children grow into who they are and embarking on their own journey of life.   She hopes that the trilogy of her cookbooks can bring more families together - the same way cooking in her kitchen unifies her family.

La vita è bella per tutti!
