All proceeds generated throughout Caffé Prego’s opening weekend will be donated to Good Shepherd Food Bank, the state’s largest hunger relief organization.
The Italian restaurant in the heart of Ogunquit said it will donate 100% of the proceeds from takeout sales on Friday, June 5, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, June 6, from noon to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, June 7, from noon to 8 p.m., to the nonprofit, which meets emergency food needs from its two distribution centers and through a network of more than 500 partner agencies.
