Thursday afternoon was full of extraordinary events–55 degree weather with snow and a visit from Lidia Bastianich were among them. Bastianich was here to unveil the expansion of Lidia’s Kansas City to the north with what they have dubbed the Pergola space.
The pergola is an Italian pergola with a Midwest spirit. Knowing that Midwest weather is temperamental, heaters and all-weather curtains will be installed to enclose the space, accommodating 150 people. Art from the Zahner gallery adorns the space, and a fifth chandelier provides mood lighting. The space offers great flexibility for weddings, cocktail parties, or corporate events.
