Since 1975, Calabria Imports has been a staple of Italian food for communities throughout the area. This family-owned Italian market and deli has focused on quality ingredients and affordable prices, and in a community known as a haven for the South Side Irish, Calabria Imports has established itself as a haven for anyone who loves Italian food.
Moving to Beverly in 2003 after more than 20 years in Blue Island, Calabria Imports, 1905 W. 103rd St., celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2020 and commemorated that achievement in November. Being in operation for that many years is an impressive feat for any business. However, to still be in business amid a pandemic is truly something to celebrate, particularly when many small businesses have been forced to close.
