With 108 acres of apple orchards and organic gardens, outdoor cooking sheds for open-flame cooking, a 1,600-square-foot tasting room with ciders on tap , Ironbound Farm — which produces Ironbound Hard Cider — is a destination for those who appreciate farm-to-table food and drink. And, after her visit earlier this fall, it's also a destination for best-selling cookbook author and restaurateur Lidia Bastianich too.
While touring the country for her national PBS special “Lidia Celebrates America: The Return of the Artisans,” which will air beginning Sunday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m., Bastianich chose Ironbound Farm as the destination for her celebration meal.
