Florida offers more than beautiful beaches and bustling cities — it is a gateway to a world of art, history and vibrant traditions deeply rooted in Italian heritage. Florida’s thriving appreciation for Italian culture makes it an ideal location for language learners. Studying the Italian language in Florida can lead to fluency and a deeper connection to a diverse global culture.
Chiara Mazzucchelli, an associate professor in UCF’s College of Arts and Humanities and the Neil Euliano chair in Italian studies, directs the Italian studies program and has made significant research contributions to cultural studies, literature and language.
