“Italian is cool!” – these inspiring words of the American students from the tri-state NY-NJ-CT can be heard today thanks to a praiseworthy commitment of IACE, the Italian-American Committee on Education. From the 2013 until today the dedication and promotional activities of the president of IACE, Berardo Paradiso, and his team made it possible to more than double the number of American students who choose to study Italian language in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
The methods used by IACE to promote the Italian language among the American students were simple as abc. The organization based the promotion on the extra curriculum activities focused on Made in Italy and the Italian excellence. A number of Italian companies have been engaged in the project as well.
