Raising funds to support Italian language and culture programs in public and private schools throughout New England, the non-profit organization also celebrated its 20th anniversary, with honored guests such as the Consul General of Italy for New England, Nicola De Santis, and State Sen. Sal DiDomenico joining C.A.S.IT. founder Maria Gioconda Motta and Vice President Alberto Mogavero for the occasion.
DiDomenico also presentad an Official Citation to C.A.S.IT. in recognition of the big milestone and for its efforts in promoting Italian language and culture. Master of ceremonies for the evening was RAI journalist Stefano Salimbeni.
