Assumption College President Francesco C. Cesareo is being recognized as a leader in preserving Italian culture in Massachusetts. Cesareo has received the Italian Heritage Month Committee's "Leadership in Education" award.
Cesareo received the award Oct. 1 during the kick-off to Italian Heritage Month in the House of Representatives Chamber at the State House in Boston. The ceremony was presided over by House Speaker Robert DeLeo.
