Audience is part of the chaotic wedding fun in the improvisational production Fashion and music may change over time, but director Leona Collesano is sure at least one thing remains the same — Italian-American weddings and the mayhem that comes with them.
Her intimate knowledge of the unique chaos and excitement of these life-changing events is part of why Collesano is co-directing the popular interactive theatre experience “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding.” Collesano has previously been in eight productions of the show, playing Josephine Vitale, the bombastic mother of Tina, the bride-to-be. This time, she is working with John Andruzzi to bring the comedy back to Bradenton at the Manatee Performing Arts Center.
