Special Session: The New Italians: Perspectives on Multicultural Italy

In recent years critical studies on post-colonialism, immigration and multiculturalism in Italy have reflected the existence of a heterogeneous landscape and a diverse population that challenge notions of Italian-ness and belonging. This session invites critical reflections on literary and cinematic expressions dealing with Italian-ness and Multiculturalism.
In order to propose a paper, a paper title, an approximately 500-word proposal, and an approximately 50-word abstract should be submitted online at : http://www.pamla.org/2015/guidelines-and-procedures
